:: About Us

Community Involvement

Glynde Mitre 10 Solutions takes great pride in serving the community.

We often donate to worthy charities such as the Red Cross Tsunami Appeal. Within our community we have contributed to many local schools and organisations. On some weekends you will find the local Lions Club or Scout group using our carpark to have a sausage sizzle.

Landcare Workshops

Store representatives from Glynde Mitre 10 Solutions went along to a recent event at Ambers Gully where Landcare Ambassador Cathy Freeman was a guest. Here we pulled up weeds and were fortunate enough to have some photos taken with Cathy. Wanting to go that one step further, we began working with Graham Churchett doing volunteer workshops. In the 3 workshops so far, three staff members at a time have spent a morning removing weeds such as African Daisy, Erica and Milk Weed. It is a great opportunity for us to see first-hand the large amount of work that needs to be done to maintain the area, and how important community support is for these projects.

Migrant Monument

The Hardware has donated generously towards the Campbelltown Migrant Monument as the founder of Glynde Variety Hardware had strong ties with the local Italian community. The Monument represents those who have migrated to the area and their contributions to the local community.

The Migrant Monument is located on the corner of Glynburn and Montacute Rd at Campbelltown - directly across the road from Glynde Mitre 10.
